Last courgettes

Many allotmenteers pull out their courgette plants at the first signs of temperatures dipping but this Ronde de Nice cultivar is here to stay... for a bit anyway. 

I had another young plant that started producing late in the season so I dug it out and put it in a pot in the greenhouse. Time will tell if I still get a few harvests in the autumn.

Courgettes and squashes out generally means broad beans and garlic in.
