Tilt
The plan had been to go up two hills above Bridge of Orchy, but the forecast wasn't great. So, since it was sunny as we drove off, and the forecast was better for the east, we headed up the A9. From the Old Bridge of Tilt car park, we loot for the long (8km) walk up Glen Tilt, before heading up Càrn a' Chalmain. The phot captures the average weather. It was beautifully sunny at times (see extra), but we got to the summit in driving rain. Django (extra) was unperturbed, and glad that I had the ball at times.
On the way back we found a delightful alternative to the road down the glen. We stopped off for a good meal at a dog-friendly restaurant in Dunkeld. However, we'd forgotten food for Django, so all he had was a bowl of water and a dog biscuit!
