Boats on the canal.
The Feast Day of St. Wilfrid.
It is drizzly and colder this morning. 13c outdoors, a pleasant 20c indoors. Arthur is fast asleep after yowling at 6:30am. I am drinking some lovely Green tea with ginger. It is good for you because it has anti oxidants which are said to be good for the heart. Generally I am blessed with good health, and as a Vegan enjoy cooking healthy food. I watched Jamie Oliver's Together last evening as he taught how to make some great curries and naan bread.
The photo shows these boats banked up because going forward along the canal to Church and Oswaldtwistle, there has been a serious breach. The canal has been drained to help with the repair work. It is good in another way because all the green duck weed will be cleared away as well.
I have walked over 3000 steps already and now it is time for the rosary that I do each day, praying for my family, world issues, animal well being, and the souls of loved ones in the next world. It only takes about 30 minutes and I sometimes join a group online.
Then the ironing!
Thanks for dropping by and enjoy today blip friends.

Tomorrow is a new, brighter day!"
