Bealach an Drain

The cold weather continues, and more snow fell overnight. We climbed the 1000' to the summit of this pass, a remarkable road, similar to the Bealach na Ba (but without the views). It was impassable to vehicles due to some deep snow drifts and a fallen pine but not a problem for these two intrepid pioneers.

On the descent through the forest, we came across many chandeliers of icicles dripping out of the peat.

Later, we found a wee gem of a cafe/restalry in Inver Cottage up the coast.
