Staithes

After book group (indoors at Alison’s for the first time) I dashed home to get away in the van.

The electricity men were in the field with a digger and spades this morning so we might have the generator outside our house for a while. The noise is not the reason we are away though - we had planned to go anyway.

We have a lovely wild camp above the village on the top left of the photo. Our van is parked beside the Cleveland Way so we took the path down to the village which is extremely pretty. Then it was a steep pull up the other side where we had great views of the cliffs some of which had badly eroded. And back!
