A different day

We took Amber to kennels this morning before heading to Whisby garden centre for breakfast. This is not the usual routine, but made a change. 

It was good to wander round the collection of stores in the centre and purchase things that I’ve been wanting for ages. 

There were loads of plants, pots and ‘stuff’ in the garden areas. I had to keep reminding myself that it is October and time to be putting the garden to bed, not replanting areas. I did buy a couple of tray of violas to put into the bulb pots for a bit of colour whilst we wait for the spring flowers.

The house seems strange without the dogs, so quiet and minus the ‘helpers’.
