Superb Last Night Stay

We packed up and hit the road from Lincoln for our drive down to Bracknell where ‘The Duke’ was to stay while we return to the US. After a brief lunch stop in Minworth to take Bryn for coffee we had lunch in Oxford and then after dropping off our traveling home in Bracknell we headed to the hotel LV had booked for us in Farnborough - The Aviator. This hotel probably ranks in my top 3 hotels I have stayed in - and that is a lot of hotels over the last 40 years. The room, or suite has separate shower and bath, bidet, 2 different methods for making coffee, 3 televisions, including one at one end of the bath for watching while soaking and a walk in dressing room. The main TV even has a sound bar sound system. The view is a wonderful clear sight of the Farnborough airfield. The cocktail bar was superb with very creative concoctions we had to try of course and the Brasserie serves up a truly memorable meal - the blip is of Bgleyna with her crab starter. LV and I shared a T-Bone steak and a lovely bottle of Barolo red wine. Great way to spend our last evening - thanks so much LV for booking this and also spending our last day with us - definitely sad to leave but will be back soon if all goes to plan.
