Day 9 Level 3 Lockdown Step 1

It was a gorgeous day today so we went out for a walk, doing our best to keep our distance from other walkers. It’s the second week of school holidays so there were family groups on the beaches, but they were well spaced out and it was good to see lots of people wearing masks.

Hubby and I played Bananagrams tonight, which is great fun. I won the first game but only by a whisker, and Hubby won the second game. The main blip shows the two winning crosswords and the extra the two losing crosswords. Mine is at the top in each blip.

There were 71 new community cases today, all in Auckland. Apparently this was expected and is part of learning to live with the virus. We need more people to be vaccinated!
