Auld Mid Voxter Junction

Gales have been blowing all day, and rained most of the morning.  Showers and sunshine in the afternoon, drier tonight. 

Another day off, and up early as usual.  No weather for walkies, so a morning doing chores.  I finally got out walkies at noon, and managed to avoid showers.  I had a few hours work in the shop this afternoon.  Popped down to Laura's in before tea.  A lazy evening at home, one final walk and then an early night. 

Me and Sammy managed to get a walk while down at Laura's, and again, avoided the showers.  It was a trip down memory lane, as we took a shortcut back.  This used to be part of the road, before the new main road was placed, and this was the junction on to the main road.  This was a route we often used, especially on a Sunday, heading to Sunday school with granddad Maikie.  He had a three wheeler, and jammed us all in, including my cousins next door, and the two dogs.  The junction was rather steep, and almost felt we would topple as he took the corner, thankfully we never did.  Taken at Mid Voxter junction, Clapphoull, Cunningsburgh.
