Tea, Cake and Scalded Thighs

I had a lovely afternoon yesterday with Cherryblossom.

She took me to Loopy Lorna's in Morningside, one of her favourite tea houses (and anyone who reads her blip will know that she's obsessed with tea houses!). We ordered the afternoon tea and were presented with a two-tier cake stand filled with sandwiches - salmon and egg mayonnaise - and lots of cakes. Also scones, clotted cream and raspberry jam, droooooooool. It was a bit too much, even for us so I brought these rather snazzy cupcakes home for Mr D. I do have another photo where I've managed to capture the precise moment when Cherryblossom poured tea straight from the pot into my lap but it's a bit blurry!

We then went for a wander through Brunstfield Links to work off some calories/dry off but ruined it all by opening a bottle of pink fizz when we got home. Very enjoyable, I must say!

I am actually going to try and blip properly today, wish me luck :)
