Day 11 Level 3 Lockdown Step 1

It was a glorious morning so we went out for a walk before the crowds hit the waterfront and the beaches.

We walked past a small bank filled with colourful gazanias, which are the subject of today’s blip.

There were 41 new community cases today, one of which was from the Waikato region. Today is Super Saturday and the aim was to beat the previous highest daily number of vaccinations, which was 93,000. I haven’t managed to get the final total yet, but one figure mentioned around 6pm was 129,000
