A study hat

Those poor sailors have been deprived of a beanie.
This wooly hat was meant to be heading to the Mission to Sea Faber's, but instead Miss C has commandeered it.

Apparently it makes her feel safe and secure in these difficult final school exam days.
How can I refuse that?

It was 29C today and she was wearing it.
