Falling water

The waterfall in Johnston Gardens is usually just a trickle. Today by comparison it was  more like a torrent. The colour of some of the trees is amazing. I have included a particularly spectacular tree as an extra.

Masses of leaves on the ground. One of the gardeners was busy collecting them. There are many more to come down in the next week or two. He will have plenty of work!

There were a couple of serious looking photographers in the park today. Well they had serious looking equipment.  My pocket camera felt a bit puny by comparison!

It was a shame the weather was not a little better. The usual flat grey/white overcast sky is not very attractive. A little bit of drizzle as well.
