the long Good Friday....

i love Good Friday nearly as much as Christmas Day! didn't get much of a lie in, and to be honest with the blue sky that greeted me, i wasn't that bothered, looks like a beautiful day ahead.

hot cross buns and a latte for breakfast, then it's flask filled, camera, dog and we're off on a 5.7 mile walk, walking in the footsteps of DH Lawrence! (see link below for walk details)

a wonderful walk. met lots of people and chatted, took lots of photos too. certainly the best part of the day as the clear blue sky soon clouded over.

back for 1pm, had been out since just after 9! gave Pete a bath and fed him, then hot-footed to mums for a lovely lunch with li and pete.

did a bit of food shopping at M&S, then home to continue work on the Easter Bonnet for tomorrow!

seafood casserole for tea, and a couple of glasses of chablis to wash it down....

Pete whacked still, and to be honest, so am i, but in a nice way. a lovely long Good Friday....
