Cousin Poppy

The Sparrow’s parents recently moved house. The folks are helping them with some little jobs on the new place.

They have a rescue dog called Poppy. Our first meeting a few weeks back was a bit of a disaster best summarised as Poppy 1 Enzo 0.

Dog relations are just like a football match. You need to assess the opponent and play to your own strengths. Hopefully you can achieve either a win or a draw. Occasionally the other side is just too powerful and you have to acquiesce while trying to save face.

We met again yesterday it was a bit tense at first. I was just looking like evening the score, but the half time whistle went and I had to go and guard the van while the folks went shopping.
