Sailing Off
Today's Blip is of the Isle of Wight ferry sailing past the Round Tower in Portsmouth. It was very quiet in Old Portsmouth today and I've put that down to everyone having gone shopping. That is of course measured by a very scientific method of noticing the heavy traffic heading towards the shopping centres.
The quietness of the area meant that I wandered into parts that I normally don't venture to due to tourists or local bods. Always nice to see places that I've not been to before and to also be able to take pics without heads bobbing into them.
I'm off to London tomorrow as it's my brothers birthday and I'm spending the day with him. Love going up town every now and then although the forecast has said snow!
In other news I baked my first cake yesterday. It was one that RipItUp told me about and what a success! However, the mixture quantities were for a few I figure because I had to fill up 2 cake tins with it. Never mind. Have already scoffed one so one more to go....nom nom nom :-)
