An oak

We spent the morning browsing the internet and making phone calls.

Then to get out for some exercise, we opted to return to Doneraile Park.  We walked some of the same paths as before, though going in the opposite direction.  But we also found plenty of new paths.

We found this rather wonderful bench carved out of a fallen oak - much more elaborate than the ones on High Ash Farm, of which this is an example.

After a pleasant meander - my phone app tells me I did 10,000 steps - we found a restaurant for a late lunch, before coming back to the flat.  Early night tonight as we have an early start and quite a long drive tomorrow.
