2021 Friday — Demo-ed into nothing

When we arrived at the harbor this afternoon, there was nothing left of Lady Maxine, the boat that had been pulled from the harbor yesterday (see yesterday’s photo).

All that remained were the deep gashes in the pavement and off in the distance the huge machine that assisted with the demolition.

So we walked the pups in the quietness of Tidelands Park and discussed our sorrow that someone had let Lady Maxine go into such missed maintenance that she had sunk, and that she had laid under water in the mud since July.

Then we stopped in at the Galley Restaurant and enjoyed dinner as the sun went down across the harbor.
