More eating

Today I had invited D&D for lunch - what a lovely time with good chat and laughs. No. 2 had asked to borrow LC tickets ( fortunately still in date) and had taken new friend to visit the castle. He turned up late afternoon with new friend in tow. Really pretty and intelligent girl - speaks fluent English as second language and works as climate change advisor so has had a busy couple of weeks. I’m not sure how serious it is but she’s over from Berlin for the weekend and he has flights booked for the end of November. She’s trying to get a job and visa in London so here’s hoping as long distance relationships can be difficult.

No1phoned on her way home from a visit overnight to a friend. Not happy her OH had got himself a KFC without a thought of shopping or preparing dinner x2. She settled for crumpets and cheese and sent me a picture. 1/10 James - think about your other half!!!

My OH chose a film to watch which was rubbish - amazing how much Netflix spent on blockbusters that turn out to be turkeys. Almost finished tapestry - need to get a move on as birthday is in a few weeks. Picture to follow when it’s done
