Badge of Honour!
I didn’t tell Frank what was on the sticker!
We were going to go home today but but we decided to stay till tomorrow. I went with Sabrina and Amelia to Stirling ice rink to watch our little skater practicing. Before going on the ice she had an off ice exercise session on Zoom with Kelly Buddery a coach in Sheffield. They have to do lots of stretching with their ice skates on.
When we got back to their house Sabrina got stuck into gutting the kitchen. She’s been on a mission all weekend to declutter and I have been helping as much as I can.
Lucy went to dance class this morning then her friend Freya came round to play. Heavens they were noisy!
Freya’s parents came for dinner later on and we had a lovely evening in good company. Valerie is a policewoman in Glasgow and has been on 12 hour shifts throughout Cop26. I have to say after listening to her tales of the protest marches I was quite shocked with the behaviour of some of the XR protesters and others.
I get that people are frustrated with the governments but I just don’t think being violent and swearing at the police is helping the cause. Valerie said she has been reduced to tears with sheer exhaustion after dealing with them.
Well, the girls have just gone to bed and there is suddenly silence but now we’re all very tired.
We will be up early tomorrow to travel home.
Goodnight :-)x
