First concert

First solo performance at school. The molto adagio from the Saint-Saens Sonata for Bassoon and Piano. I saw the video a few days after the event. She was beautiful. There was one small slip, a literal one where Ferdys spike holder slip. But her playing has come on a lot. She didn’t let the slip fluster her more than the phrase it affected. And she oozed beautiful musicality.

I was really gutted to not be able to be there for her, but she seemed quite pleased to have her house parent with her daughter and her friend from the boarding house.
