Canal walk

We met my sister and BIL half way between them and us and did a really nice walk along the canal at Ripley. We love ‘fancy free walks’ (from the website of the same name) and this skirted the canal and Wisley golf course. The trees were amazing and colourful and we stopped for lunch at the Anchor. We took a packed lunch but a cold beer was a nice accompaniment to the sandwiches! Not too long but around
17000 steps. Home before it got dark and we decided to light the fire ( although it wasn’t really that cold?). A perfect autumn day.
