End of the day
This morning we walked down for breakfast at the Duke Street Café. On the way back we bought some lovely bread and Cornish cheese. Then Gordon walked into Penzance to watch local rugby - Cornish Pirates against Bedford and the home side won. Meanwhile I had a few hours of reading and sewing. Then he arrived back and straight into TV Rugby (a different level I think!) and England beat the South Africans. I escaped and walked along the promenade as far as Penzance - a lovely path right by the sea. As I returned I watched fishing boats returning to Newlyn harbour at the end of the day - here is one (my App says it is a UK trawler Suffolk Chieftain).
Now there seems to be more Rugby and later I am cooking Plaice, bought yesterday down by the harbour.
Last night we walked down to the local (and really lovely) cinema and saw 'Mothering Sunday' - a beautiful film with brilliant acting.
