At last night’s dance performance

This was at intermission, so the audience was at its most obstructive, but even when they settled down, that hat was a problem. Still, I managed to peer around it and see most of the performance. The choreography (by Twyla Tharp) was only so-so, but the dancers (Tiler Peck, Sara Mearns, James Gilmer, Roman Mejia, and others) were absolutely top-notch. It was worth going for them alone.
