Alfie, Blu and our Bella.

Alfie is Bryony and Joel’s tiny pug I mentioned yesterday who is going for the operation in 2 weeks. We fell in love with him!
Blu is Sam and Siobhan’s cocker poo. He’s a bit naughty but cute and just needs a bit of consistent training which they seem reluctant to do.
Bella, well, our Bella has had a difficult time while we were away. It seems she has been so petrified by the fireworks since Nov 5 that even the slightest noise like a wheelie bin lid being closed or a car door slammed sent her into a panic and Viola had trouble getting her to go outside to do her toiletting and also she would hardly eat. Poor Bella, she looked so miserable when we arrived to pick her up. However once we got her home to her own environment she seems more settled though just before something slammed outside and she jumped. Then Frank heard fireworks again! We turned the telly on really loud. She is now asleep under the table and she ate all her dinner.

We’ve had such a lovely time away but we are so happy to be home now.
In our jim-jams all cosy, watching comedy on BBC 4.
I’m looking forward to starting a new book in bed.
