2021 Friday — Medical

For several days Mr. Fun has been experiencing a cough in the mornings and the evenings that seems to nag at him till he is choking. So, today we took a journey to visit the Urgent Care at Kaiser Medical.

We walked into a crowded waiting room and heard one person telling another that they had a wait of 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I could hear the silent groan of Mr. Fun. We walked-up to the receptionist to tell what our problem was and that Mr. Fun has just ended 18 months of treatment for prostrate Cancer and she immediately suggested that Mr. Fun should have a telephone appointment with a doctor and not sit in the waiting room and that we could go sit in our car to wait for the doctor to phone us within 30 minutes, but we should not leave the property in case the doctor wanted to order a chest X-ray.

In less than 20 minutes the doctor phoned. He ordered several prescriptions and he did order a chest X-ray.

So that was our Friday!
