A tabby cat

Internet, meet Tabitha. Tabitha, meet the internet!

This is my fluffy, chubby, overgrown kitten, Tabitha (so named because I'm a massive dork who wanted to be able to call my tabby cat Tabby for short). She's one of the strangest cats I've ever encountered, and she only tolerates affection on her terms. When she is in the mood for a snuggle, she gets all dribbly, which is both adorable and gross. There are times when she's literally climbing the walls of our house, but I managed to catch her at a quiet point.

I got a Macbook Pro today to finally replace my four-year-old Macbook. I've wanted a new one for ages because the old one was dying a slow and painful death, and today was the last day I could get an iTunes gift card as part of Apple's student deal so I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. It's so shiny and beautiful and it works. I'd gotten used to waiting thirty seconds just to swap between browser tabs; now applications and files instantly open when you click on them. Magic.

Dad and I have spent the evening watching The Fellowship of the Ring - the perfect way to spend a quiet night!
