Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

When I was in Sainsburys the other day, I passed a man and his (roughly) 3 year old son.

The little boy darted up the confectionery aisle and grabbed a lollipop.

The Dad put on his strict parenting voice and told him to put it back.

Little boy: “No”

The Dad: “I told you to put it back. You are NOT having that.”

They locked eyes and the battle of wills commenced. It was a tense few seconds but then the little boy looked down mournfully.

Before lifting the lolly to his mouth and licking it.

Adult: 0, Child: 1
