It’s beginning

to feel a lot like Christmas….
After last years faff with mounting the cards in a Christmas tree shape on the wall, I bought a holder this year and put it out today. Two cards already, the smaller (thumbnail) one is just like Vinnie. My friend always chooses lovely cards, so I messaged her to say thank you and poor love is in hospital with her Mum waiting to get a bed for her.
It’s an old age dementia situation, and she was so supportive of me when I was sorting out my Mum, so I know how she feels.
We are going away with them the day after Boxing Day for a night in a posh hotel, sounds like she will be ready for that.
