Baby Apple Trees

Frank had to drive to Skipton so I took the chance two pop into the garden centre and bought two dwarf apple trees. One is a Cox Orange Pippin and the other is an Elstar. They are self pollinators but will also pollinate each other.

We then put the old apple tree branches and the mangled greenhouse in the car and Frank took them to the tip. If it’s a dry day tomorrow I’ll do some more tidying outside and repot the baby trees in the two large pots I bought.

I wrote all my Christmas cards this afternoon so felt happy to tick something else off my list.

A video chat with Tony and Diane (brother and SiL) which was nice. We are on the same wavelength and like to have a laugh.
