Looking for brightness

My kitchen geranium flowers all year - I’m not sure why as it doesn’t get tremendously good nurturing. So whenever I look out I see this lovely red, as well as whatever is going on outside. 
Decluttering again today for an hour or two. Sometimes I get a bit stuck on difficult things like old letters and cards. A friend said recently she had a year when she got rid of one thing every day. I’m trying to do that now, so far it’s been ok. I’m not a terrible hoarder, but I do seem to have a lot of stuff. Of course a lot from when my mum and dad died, and clearing their house. I’m getting there.
