Still standing

Still standing after storm Arwen. Trees on Weetwood Moor.

We had intended to make yet another trip to the tip this morning, but there was a long queue of cars waiting to get in through the gates. So, instead of waiting, MrM drove on past the tip and up to Weetwood Moor for a walk.

Not an afternoon for sorting out the 'yard as the forecast heavy rain started before we'd finished lunch. Later in the afternoon it turned in to heavy snow for a while!

So it was a productive afternoon indoors. Big pan of lentil soup made, ingredients for mincemeat mixed and left to soak in lemon juice overnight, and dried fruit and orange zest for the Christmas cake left to soak in brandy and orange juice overnight! It's beginning to smell a lot like...
