Flooded

A quick walk round the Christmas Farmers' Market first thing, and a couple of purchases made.

Then MrM and I went to the tip again - no one else wants to go in the rain, so this time no queue at all! Back home the long way round, as is MrM's wont, but not over this bridge near Chatton! After heavy rain yesterday and overnight, there's now a lot of flooding in the area. The other bridge to Chatton (just right of centre in the extra) is still passable - just - but probably not for much longer. Lots of water on the Glendale flood plain too.

Made the Christmas cake this afternoon, and then added the alcohol to the mincemeat and put it into jars. Meanwhile, MrM continued work in our bedroom...
