Christmas tree

Thankfully when I woke up this morning and lifted my head off the pillow my horrible headache had gone - I don't know what that was all about yesterday, but it lasted all day. My painful foot is also less painful now and the swelling has gone down, so today was a much better day! 

I enjoyed my walk with Xena in the woods, in wonderful sunshine - she met dogs to play with once again. I came home and rested my foot for a while before going out to get groceries for the weekend - lately Fridays are so busy to go shopping - actually not in the store but in the Waitrose carpark and I suspect it is people parking there to go out to the restaurants for lunch in the run up to Christmas.

A few more Christmas presents were delivered so I wrapped those - I have to keep Xena out the room when I wrap presents as she thinks it is fun to roll on the wrapping paper and tries to chew it....

I took photos of the Christmas tree but then decided to do this collage of some of the decorations.

So Covid rules Plan B has now been introduced but the changes are no different to what I have been doing all along, that is wearing masks in indoor venues. I just don't understand people who say they are not going to follow these rules as the government don't follow the rules themselves - surely it is sensible to protect oneself by wearing masks, regardless of what the government do, its not a tit for tat situation.
