The Three Amigos

It is Ellen’s birthday on Saturday and she had booked an afternoon tea on a barge for the Three Amigos. After all the filthy weather, the sun shone down on us as we walked down to the canal. There were only nine people on board so we were spaced out and felt very safe. The food was lovely. There was a slightly awkward moment when I got crumb stuck in my throat and had a coughing fit….not good in this day and age. As I chokingly said it was a rogue crumb the other passengers came back from the edge where they were about to jump ship and laughed it off. Lol

We started the trip with a mulled wine and when we got off we ended with a glass of fizz in Worsley Wines. We went over Barton Aqueduct and then turned back to Worsley. It was a splendid trip.
