Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree
Yesterday I made a pinky promise to the youngest that we would go to the park after school today. This morning I had to ask him if we could undo our promise, so that we could get a Christmas tree instead. He said yes, especially as we get our Christmas tree from a farm where they have a barn full of toy tractors, with a real tractor in there too. Last year the combine was also stored there, which went down very well.
Tree is up and decorated, only slightly stressful having to manage the boys, untangling lights, decorations everywhere. They have done a fantastic job and almost no 'reworking' needed (yes, I would do that if needed).
I think it's the earliest I've ever put the tree up.
Today I'm grateful for:
Christmas tree helpers
Nearly the end of term - they need it
The school going ahead with the nativity (limiting to 2 'guests' per child)
