a Good Tuesday

the 5.30am alarm was a killer. so i snoozed til 6am, then jumped straight in the shower. took a sneaky look out of the window as i dried my hair and it was chucking it down with snow!!! my response to the sight of the white stuff is not printable!! surely this is a late April Fools!!

it stopped around 7am, and by the time i left for Brum, it was a bright morning.

the journey to Brum was a breeze. did it in just over an hour. the Aston Expressway seemed strange without bumper to bumper traffic on it.

a good morning, didn't take a lunch but instead left at 4.15pm, and a good journey back home. called in at Breedon on the Hill on the way home, and the Priory Church at the top. stunning views all around, clear view of East Midlands Airport too. i always see it from the A42 and have always wanted to visit it.

home by 6pm, tea done and eaten and then off for a walk with Pete, our first of many weekday light night wanders.

the clear and bright day had given us a glorious sunset, and having found that perfect place to capture it, i watched it slowly disappear.

caught up on Broadchurch from last night, and now off to the land of nod!
