Tiny Visitor
This is Evelyn, nearly 2 1/2 years old. Her mum Amy brought her round to deliver a Christmas card. She is the cutest wee girl. She enjoyed the gingerbread man I bought her yesterday and got to know Bella, who was over the moon to have a tiny visitor. Evelyn also had a go on my ukulele and did a little dance while I played. (See extra)
Frank will be disappointed to have missed them as he was at band practice. Amy and Evelyn were meant to be coming round this morning but got delayed. Nevermind she said they’d come back and see Frank.
I was up early and made some mince pies but could only make six and the rest had to be jam as I couldn’t find the jar of mincemeat I bought the other day! What happens to things?
I was saying to Frank today that I spend my life guessing where his sentences are going to end up.This is a typical exchange of words in our house.
F - Is there an M&S in Airdrie.
Me - No but there’s one in Coatbridge.
F - Oh good because I’ve got that voucher. I need to go to B&…
Me - B&…?
F - Yes, er….
Me - B&Q???
F - No B&…
Me - B&M?
F - No! M&S! (Looks at me incredulously…as if it’s me!)
I said it’s like being in a TV quiz - every day!
His head is just full of music at the moment, a one track mind ;-)
I’ve got everything packed for my train journey to Glasgow tomorrow. I’ll be travelling light as Frank will be driving up on Monday so can bring all my other stuff and all the presents.
I’ve arranged to meet Marc when I arrive there and we’ll go for lunch somewhere outdoors. I think there are many places with outdoor tables now. I’ll have to be wearing thermals.
That’s all for today. Thanks for the comments, stars and hearts!
Stay safe ;-)X
