Level 1 Field Moves ✔️

After a year of delay due to Covid restrictions, Amelia passed her level 1 figure skating exam. I don't know why it's called field moves... I wish you could see the video Sabrina sent me of the practice beforehand (Not allowed to film the exam). She moves so confidently and gracefully. We're so proud of our wee skater! She doesn't get the slightest bit stressed or uptight about it as it is just something she loves and enjoys and there's no pressure from Mum and Dad. On most of the videos we can hear Sabrina laughing/screeching with joy as she watches her! She even got a good wish and well done message from Coach Hamish (Dancing on Ice!).

This morning I got up and decided to make a bit of an effort with myself. Frank made a nice job of cutting my hair (and neck!) yesterday, so I put a dress on and some make up and came down to breakfast with lippy on! It didn't escape Frank's attention either - 'You look nice this morning', said he.

Had a quick tidy round and vacuumed so it's cosy now with the stove lit.
Next to me on the couch is my knitting basket, art stuff and uke. Not sure what I'll be doing - a bit o' this, a bit o' that ;-)

Still a couple of wee gifts to buy on line.

A very wet grey day today - staying in.
