Fog

I love fog. I agree it's not fun to drive in. But on a bike cycling off main roads it's magical. 
It focuses on scenes closest to you softening or blocking varying degrees of the background, highlighting and drawing more attention to the foreground. That's just the viewing.  At times you can step into the fine damp mist where the temperature noticeably drops and you feel part of the air around you.  Sounds are also softer particularly across water.
