Hilda prints

We got a lovely 4 or 5 inches of snow last night. I took a number of pictures this morning that I really like. This one cracks me up though. Hilda, our cat, went out on the deck and sat in the snow (after I'd shoveled some) and just surveyed all the snow. Then turned around and came in. This is her bum and front paw prints. The first extra is an echinacea stalk with a snow cap.
This afternoon we had our final sing for the Solstice back at the quarry where we had sung one afternoon. It was amazing with the fresh snow. The second extra is the line of luminarias lining the path. The 3rd extra is the choir singing. Madowoi had a more fanciful, sweet picture of the choir here
