Evening sunset

Our little bit of snow from yesterday has lingered but it won't be around for long. We are expecting  a humdinger of a storm on Friday into Sat. It will mostly be rain but the winds will be steady around 35 mph and we may get gusts up to 50!! I'm not a fan of the wind gusts. This is the storm that I thought would bring us some good snow. Sigh.
Once I got home today the sky was starting to turn a beautiful color. I particularly like the smooth, high clouds.
