Peace Cranes

As you walk into the elementary art room there is a wall of paper cranes on the left side. The kids made these last year and I'm pretty sure it was part of the peace crane project. I just looked it up and it seems that you are to exchange your crane with a message of peace written on with another student somewhere in the world. Now, obviously these cranes are still hanging out in the art room but maybe the messages of peace flew up into the air as the children folded them up. Regardless, I love the way they look.
