Very Windy Walk

Six of us met at the lake, we drove to the Luggate Boulders and walked from there up stream to the Devil's Nook.  It was so windy that it was very hard to stand still to take a photo.  Therefore I didn't take many photos today.  The extras are:  The colourful flowers by the track, and walking into the wind.

We had our lunch in the shade away from the wind, then a windy walk back to the cars.  We were pleased that it was quite sheltered by the river.  We had a welcome cuppa at a local cafe, then the rain came!  13K steps, or 9 K's.

I am now waiting for a load of green firewood, which I will dry out for a month before stacking it away in the woodshed.  Then it will be ready for next winter.
