Under da Foghorn

A lovely flat calm day, some sunny spells and cloud.  A cold day, and they are predicting snow for Christmas. 

Up early, and delivered some Christmas cards on my way to work.  I've been working in the airport today, late shift.  I was in the heli end this morning, and then meeting and boarding planes the rest of the day.  Walkies with Sammy after work, wrapped a few presents, and now feet up by the fire. 

The shortest day is almost here, and the winter sun is low in the sky.  It's a blinding sun, when driving, but we'll hopefully start to see it rise again, and soon welcome summer back.  Even though it was cold, every bright day helps make the winter days a little easier.  Taken in the foghorn, Sumburgh Lighthouse, Sumburgh Head.
