Emergency.

Emergency blip.

Busy day. I may not be hosting Christmas, but the orders are in! Mince pies, Christmas cake, Cauliflower cheese, pate, gammon. A dog to groom, finalising 'bits' to take up. A high chair to drop off at Jodie's for a friend coming in for Franky's birthday on the 27th. I haven't stopped all day.

Good news that no restrictions being brought in before Christmas, we just need to do our LF tests tomorrow before we head up north, and hope Hayley has managed to stay clear of any kids with covid in her school! My nephew is not travelling up from Somerset. It's sad as he really misses his Mum (my sister) and would love to spend some family time with us. He's a carer for his difficult Dad with dementia, so the respite would do him good, but the risk is too great as he'd be making his way up by train.

Talking about the Ikea high chair I took over too J's. Just Got a WhatsApp from her .... Titled 'Idiots'. Her nearly 5 year old and nearly 7 year old making the most of some 'new' toys in the house (extra) Good value for money are the IKEA highchairs!!! LOL
