Presepe

There is a long tradition in the town where I live to make and display nativity scenes (presepe) in December, not only on the river but also as an exhibition in the old church and it has become a yearly tradition to visit the exhibition. The "friends of the presepe" hold courses in town and  many great presepe artists and artisans have been raised in the area. The presepes are made with great attention to details and in the permanent exhibition there are several scenes that represent the town itself, I have added 3 collage in the extra to confront the presepe scenes to the town as it is today (sorry for the quality, as I used the phone). The main blip on the other hand is a modern revisitation of the scene. Make hummus, not walls!
