Grey Heron

Merry Christmas everyone! 
I took an early walk to the loch, it was still quite dark. The young one spotted me and came running over (I rarely see her run). She had just stopped in front of me as a couple of joggers ran past. I heard one saying to the other "did you see that Heron going to the guy" . I took her up some fresh seabass as a treat this morning. I don't know if she can tell much difference but she ate it all anyway. When she was finished I walked up to the top of the hill and watched her fly up the loch.
In other news I got a lovely mug for Christmas, featuring the young one, from my cousin and  fellow blipper Anrola
