Chocolate hunt up the Mynd

Today we attempted a chocolate hunting orienteering challenge up the Mynd: six runners, two dogs, three maps, two compasses and some flapjacks. We chose the 6 mile route we which thought would take a couple of hours. 9.5 miles and four hours later, up and down hills and through mud and streams…and alas, no chocolate. Turns out we are all pretty rubbish at orienteering. Still, it was epic and we all have plenty of chocolate at home.
