15C, muddy paths and another grey day

Not liking 15C, muddy towpath and grey skies…would, much prefer 5C, dry and blue skies! A quick bit of fresh air around the towpath and parks, towpath very busy at 11am and pedestrians not good at sharing with cyclists, I’m usually home by 10am! 

The blip is of the carriage ride in Bushy Park which people can book and take over the Christmas period. The passengers did not need extra clothes or blankets today! A big queue of cars behind them exiting from the Diana Fountain Car Park. It costs £15 per person for a 25 min ride and includes a hot drink and a snack apparently. 

When passing the skating rink outside Hampton Court I was surprised no one was skating……it seems it’s too warm and so the ice would be dangerous. Notices saying you could get a refund. This must be disappointing for many families who had planned this for today.
